Grammy Jam

This passion project was rooted in the fond memories I shared with my sweet Grandmother growing up in Washington State. Each summer, she would lovingly craft jars upon jars of her exquisite jam, generously sharing them with our family, friends, acquaintances, and even strangers. To this day, her homemade jam remains my absolute favorite, inspiring me to envision how her cherished creation might be reimagined if she had decided to introduce it to a wider audience.

Inspiration

This picture depicts my Grandma graciously serving food at my belated baby shower with a heartwarming touch of me sleeping in the basket behind her! It served as the inspiration that guided the creation of the logo illustration that I used for Grammy Jam.

Research & sketches

Grammy Jam's branding aims to make consumers feel happy and nostalgic through its design and messages, aiming to connect with their emotions and memories. A blend of modern design and hand-drawn illustrations was used for the logo to make the message clear while adding a classic touch. Grammy Jam is a transparent (literally look at the packagin) brand that uses simple ingredients and made from fruit grown in Washington state.

Fruit Illustrations

Custom illustrations were created for every fruit incorporated in the Jam production process. Each distinct flavor is named after a different Washington city, paying homage to the rich local heritage. The fruit are grown locally each season, guaranteeing a burst of freshness in every bite.
